If you’re Trying to Conceive and in the middle of the two week wait (TWW), you know just how intense it can feel. One minute you're hopeful, the next you're spiraling into what-ifs and symptom spotting. It’s a time full of uncertainty, and it can be emotionally exhausting.
In this post, I’m sharing some simple tools to help you cope — not just to “stay positive,” but to feel more grounded, calm, and connected to your body, no matter the outcome.
Here are a few gentle ways to support yourself during the TWW:
1. Practice Nervous System Regulation
Your body holds the stress of waiting — even if you’re trying to “stay calm.” Techniques like EFT Tapping, breathwork, and gentle movement can help calm your nervous system and lower cortisol.
2. Stop Trying to ‘Think Positive’
It’s okay to feel scared, anxious, or exhausted. The TWW brings up big emotions, and trying to force positivity can actually make you feel more disconnected. What helps is processing those emotions, not pushing them away.
3. Use EFT Tapping to Move Through the Spiral
Tapping helps you acknowledge your fear, anxiety, or hope — and shift your state without bypassing how you feel. It sends calming signals to the brain and supports your hormones and nervous system while you wait.
Free EFT Tapping Practise for Fertility Stress & Anxiety
I’ve created a free Tapping Practice specifically for the Two Week Wait - including intention journaling and a calming 20 minute EFT sequence.
Tapping Through the Two-Week Wait will help you:
Calm anxiety + overthinking
Feel more grounded during the unknown
Support your body + nervous system
I’ve created this practise for the woman who is tired of spiralling every month and is ready to feel calmer, more balanced and to hold space for both the hope & the heartache.
