Yesterday marked 5 years since I became an Accredited EFT Practitioner. ✨

When I launched myself back into this work, I wanted it all to happen right away – the clients, the income, the freedom to leave my full-time job.

In the early days, I dreamed big – in that beautiful, naive way we do when we start something new.

Am I where I thought I’d be five years ago? No.
But I still have so much to celebrate.

This business has held me through so many ups and downs over the past few years. It’s been one of my greatest teachers and activators – showing me what I believe about myself, how I’m seen, and the gifts I have to offer.

But more than anything, I wanted to do this work help create change.
To support women like me, carrying the emotional load and stress that life often leaves us holding. Because when we do this work, we don’t just change ourselves – we ripple it out through our whole circle.

I adore this work. I’ve loved every client, every program, every circle. I love the resilience and vulnerability I’ve shown. The persistence I’ve maintained. The belief that drives it all: this work matters. It’s needed. And it’s important that I’m here, doing it.

The tools I use with you have also held me through heartache, loss, and grief. My passion for this work has never faltered – because I know its power.

Maybe it’s still a side hustle… but it means everything to me.
And I hope I’m lucky enough to be doing this for another 5, 10, 20, even 30 years.

The second half of 2025 feels like a new chapter – and I feel ready to share more of my story and support those walking a similar path. More on this soon.

But today, I just want to say:

Here’s something I’ve been reflecting on lately. ☕️

It’s so important to be wary of when and where you’re plugging into other people’s stories, opinions and experiences and letting them dictate how you feel, what you believe and your overall mindset.

It’s so easy in this day and age to connect quickly with answers from other people.

Shared knowledge can be powerful, but if we choose it too often over our own intuition, our own heart and gut… it can cause more stress, anxiety and paranoia.

And also, impact our belief in what we’re trying to create, call in or build.

Of course, I’m not saying sharing our stories isn’t powerful and needed, and can be healing to share, and healing to hear…

But I will say that we need to find the balance and be mindful of our readiness to hear and hold those stories.

And if you know that plugging into the experience of someone else isn’t going to serve you, trust that you’re allowed to turn the volume down and disconnect.

Feeling griefy this Mothers Day. 🤍🕊️

It’s my 6th one without my beautiful Mum here, and I miss her today and always.

But also, it’s my first Mother’s Day since my miscarriage. I wasn’t expecting to be feeling so much today. I’ve been pretty rundown the last few weeks… so maybe it’s the fatigue and general exhaustion, but I’m feeling tender today.

For some of us, the road to becoming a Mother is a difficult one.
It’s layered with heartache and hardship.
With loss and longing.

I feel such joy in my heart for the mothers I’m surrounded by, I marvel at the women they’re becoming and I love their babies with my whole heart.

But I feel often that I’m in this bizarre limbo-land, biding my time, holding all this love, waiting to pour it out.

And I know one day, we’ll get there.

I pray and hope, I wish and yearn. That it’s soon.

But for now, I’ll sit in this tenderness, keep trusting the timing and honour all the Mothers who’ve come before me. 🤍

Intuition over Language ✨

When people first start learning about tapping, I notice the biggest thing they get held up on is what to say.

There’s this funny little fear that pops up around potentially saying the wrong thing, like if you don’t get the words perfectly articulated - the magic won’t happen for you and it will all be a gigantic waste of time.

Has that ever happened to you?

Fancy scripts. Lengthy statements. Flowery language. It can have an air of specialness and pick me energy, but trust me when I say - simple is best.

The truth is, you can’t mess it up.

There’s no right or wrong when it comes to your emotions.
No bad emotions.
No incorrect emotions.
Even those emotions that you can’t quite name.
They are welcome and valid when you tap.

Sometimes all that focus on finding the right word in the right way is distracting you from the truth of how you actually feel.
And when you strip it all back - the basics are the most important part.

Here is my plain jane advice to help you create a real (quick) shift in your body & brain:

✨ What is the emotion I’m feeling?
✨ Where do I feel it in my body?
✨ How strong is it out of 10?

That’s it, that’s all you need.
You can repeat the above over and over.
You can waffle on.
You can say nothing at all.
So long as you are tuned into what you’re actually feeling...

You’ll feel a shift.

Anger isn’t the enemy—it’s a messenger. 🔥✨

In client sessions, I find it so, so important to work with anger whenever it arises…
To allow it, express it, and ultimately shift the relationship we may have with it.

Because when we don’t, and when we instead suppress our anger, it has a funny way of leaking out—toward our partners, kids, or even random people we might come across in day to day life (road rage anyone??).

For many women, anger is tangled with guilt and shame - which can make it feel unsafe to express.

But when we sit with it, tap through it, and give it space -
We can release the pressure and move forward without lashing out. We can also create space to better understand our anger - it’s reason for being here. Its roots. Its wisdom.

And longer term find that we don’t accelerate to rage at the smallest of triggers.

Anger has a place at the table. The key is learning how to listen, and letting her be heard. ❤️

I think it’s so important to be wary of when and where you’re plugging into other people’s stories, opinions and experiences and letting them dictate how you feel, what you believe and your overall mindset.

I’m chatting here about how this has popped up in my own fertility journey, but this is a lesson that can be applied to so many different areas of life.

It’s so easy in this day and age to connect quickly with answers from other people.
Shared knowledge can be powerful, but if we choose it too often over our own intuition, our own heart and gut… it can cause more stress, anxiety and paranoia. And also, impact our belief in what we’re trying to create, call in or build.

Of course, I’m not saying sharing our stories isn’t powerful and needed, and can be healing to share, and healing to hear (obviously, I’m sharing mine).

But I will say that we need to find the balance and be mindful of our readiness to hear and hold those stories. And if you know that plugging into the experience of someone else isn’t going to serve you, trust that you’re allowed to turn the volume down and disconnect.

So, there’s a concept in EFT called ‘The Unseen Therapist’, created by Gary Craig, the founder of tapping as we use it today.

Gary describes The Unseen Therapist as the spiritual healer within.

A force that is within us, but is also somehow outside of us.

TW: Pregnancy Loss 🤍

At the start of December, I had a miscarriage.

This was a pregnancy, a baby, that was very much wanted and longed for after over 2 years of fertility struggles and what’s felt like endless trying. Endless negative tests. Endless limbo.

My pregnancy was one riddled with anxiety, to finally be pregnant after years of not… felt scary.
The thought of a loss was inconceivable, a terrible thing that gave me nightmares.
It sent me into a panic when my bloodwork wasn’t looking good.
It settled quietly when I saw a teeny heart beat on a screen.
But it roared within me when it became clear that the pregnancy was over so soon.

I feel sad at the thought of the next year now yawning ahead without a birth to prepare for or a baby in sight.
It feels like a different type of grief to what I’ve felt before - yes there is grieving a loss of life, the disappointment and sadness. But there is also mixed in fear and trepidation at the thought of trying, of putting myself at risk of experiencing all of this, again.

I am still working through this pain, landing in this reality of a life post-loss but I’m doing better.
For a time, the pain of grief is sharp and unbearable.
But with time, and patience - it softens, and it is already softening. 🤍

I’ve long thought about sharing more about my fertility struggles here.
And if I’m honest, things have felt stagnant in the past year in part because I haven’t shared the depth of this journey that’s been dominating my life until now.
I’ve felt the pull to speak to it many, many times - but I’ve always shied away in fear.

It’s not fair to say that ‘these things happen for a reason’, but I do know that we can also find our own meaning in the pain.
I feel in my heart that the experiences I’ve had over the past couple of years, and how I’ve managed my own healing will go a long way in allowing me to help other women who are also following their red thread, and anxiously trying to start a family.

But for now, I’m taking the time to heal. Connecting with the hope of a successful pregnancy, and trusting our little family will grow soon. 🤍

Why do I feel this way?
Why do I get angry at the drop of a hat?
Why do I feel unmotivated and distracted?
Why can’t I seem to calm myself down?

It’s so easy to go through life being battered by the constant waves of emotions, unregulated and maybe sometimes a big unhinged.

Sometimes it can feel a little murky where these emotions are coming from.
You might put it down to a stressful day. Or a bad nights sleep. But could something else be going on for you?

The truth is, your emotions are your messengers.

Anger is here to reveal something.
Sadness speaks when it needs to be heard.
Fear is tapping you on the shoulder for a reason.

They’re pointing you towards what needs to be shifted. Unblocked. Healed.

Sometimes, all it takes is a moment to tune into your body, take a deep breath, and ask yourself… why?

Why am I feeling this anger, sadness, or fear? Then, wait for the answers. Maybe it’s an old memory, a feeling of being forgotten or rejected, or a belief that you’ll be judged for pursuing your desires.

Your emotions are the entry point into the deeper work available to you.

This is what I do with EFT and my clients. Slowly, gently, patiently - we ask why. And then we tap & clear, calm & soothe so that all that stuff under the surface can heal.
